The Salt & Light Biblical Citizenship Ministry at Valley Life Community Church, located in Selma CA, is an affiliate of The Salt & Light Council, a nationwide organization that trains and equips churches to preserve our culture through biblical citizenship.
The Gospel will go forth in America only so long as citizens understand government must be limited by the people. Applying that to a biblical worldview means it is the duty of Christians to protect God’s values in the culture by consistently monitoring the actions of our legislators and government at all levels.
It is, therefore, the goal of our Salt & Light Ministry to educate citizens to hold fast to a biblical worldview, which is the best way to maintain a virtuous nation that builds healthy families and is a light to the world. At Valley Life, we accomplish this by informing the public through compelling in-person events and media. Our Salt & Light ministry hosts speakers who educate us in how to protect our established Judeo-Christian values.
